Our Community Investments
Community Partners
Moving communities forward is a team effort. Each year, we volunteer and pledge support each year to over 500 local non-profit organizations across our service area to spread good energy and empower a better future. A few examples of the groups we work with include:
Find Bill Payment Assistance
We offer flexible support to help customers manage energy costs and find community resources, including payment plans, federal aid programs, emergency assistance, medical customer support and weatherization upgrades.
Grants and Sponsorships
We work with 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(6) nonprofits to secure financial support for environmental projects and/or projects that help spread good energy in our community. Eligible organizations can fill out an application today.

Family and friends can give an Energy Gift by making a payment of any amount toward the recipient's Evergy customer account. Purchased by check or money order, it's a simple and convenient gift that you can give at any time.
Your energy gift amount is applied to the recipient’s account — all you need is their address. You can even do this anonymously if you prefer. Here's how...
- To send a gift, download our energy gift form and announcement card.
- Fill it out and mail it back to us with payment by check or money order; we'll apply the payment to the customer's account (please do not include an Energy Gift payment with your bill payment).
- Mail your energy gift form with payment by check or money order to PO Box 11975, Kansas City, MO 64138. We’ll apply the payment to the customer’s account.
- Gifts are non-refundable. Credits resulting from a gift will remain on the account.
You do not have to be an Evergy customer to purchase this gift - anyone can purchase an Energy gift for one of our customers.
